I’m a 50 something mother of four that has reached the “empty nest” stage of life. It's taking me a little while to get used to the idea of less cooking, less laundry and less driving. No longer will I be needed for the everyday things that go with raising four wonderfully responsible and independent kids. It hasn’t taken me very long to see that while I’ll enjoy the "more time in the day for me", I’ll miss the "less time in the day for everyone else".

I’m determined to embrace this “more for me” time in the day, and have decided to do something that I truly enjoy doing…creating. What started a couple of years ago as a necessity for some simple, basic home décor items is now branching into this small wood sign painting, candle and card making Etsy shop.
